Privacy and KVKK Privacy Notice

Within the scope of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”, Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698), we explain with transparency how we process your personal data. For us, data protection is not a compliance clause but a design principle.

1. Data Controller

Your personal data is processed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Oğuz Yüksel — Artificial Intelligence in Medicine and Health Consultancy (“we”), acting as the data controller, for the purposes and within the scope explained below. Contact: [email protected]

2. Which Data Do We Process, and Why?

On this website, we process your personal data only through the contact form, and only to the extent that you provide it:

  • Full name, e-mail address, institution name (if any), and message content.

Processing purposes:

  • Evaluating and responding to your contact and collaboration request,
  • Conducting corporate projects and business discussions.

In line with the principle of data minimization, we collect only the minimum data necessary for these purposes; we do not request more.

3. Legal Basis

Your data is processed based on your explicit consent under Article 5 of the KVKK and/or on the legal grounds of “the establishment, exercise or protection of a right” and “the legitimate interest of the data controller.” The disclosure obligation is an independent obligation that is fulfilled whether or not explicit consent is obtained.

4. Transfer of Data

Your personal data is not shared with third parties for commercial purposes, is not sold, and is not used for advertising. It may be processed only to the extent required by the service and limited to suppliers under a confidentiality obligation, such as the e-mail/form infrastructure and hosting service providers that enable the technical delivery of the form.

5. Method of Collection

Your data is collected in electronic form by your filling in and submitting the contact form on our website of your own accord.

6. Retention Period

Your data is retained for the period required by the purpose of processing and for the periods stipulated in the relevant legislation; when the purpose ceases to exist, it is deleted, destroyed, or anonymized.

7. Your Rights (KVKK Art. 11)

As a data subject, pursuant to Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the following rights:

  1. To learn whether your personal data is being processed,
  2. To request information if it has been processed,
  3. To learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in accordance with its purpose,
  4. To know the third parties to whom it is transferred domestically or abroad,
  5. To request its correction if it has been processed incompletely or incorrectly,
  6. To request its deletion or destruction under the conditions stipulated in the KVKK,
  7. To request that correction/deletion operations be notified to the third parties to whom it has been transferred,
  8. To object to a result arising against you through analysis exclusively by automated systems,
  9. To request the remedying of your damages in the event that you suffer damage due to unlawful processing.

8. How Do You Exercise Your Rights?

You may submit the above requests to [email protected]. Depending on its nature, your request is concluded free of charge as soon as possible and within thirty (30) days at the latest.

9. Cookies and Visit Statistics

Our website uses Google Analytics in order to understand visit statistics; this tool may use cookies to measure data such as the number of visitors and page views. This data is used only in aggregate and anonymous form for the purpose of evaluating the performance of the site; it is not used for advertising or profiling purposes. If you wish, you can reject or delete cookies from your browser settings.

10. Data Security

We apply appropriate technical and administrative measures for the security of your data: end-to-end encrypted connection (HTTPS), access restriction, and data minimization.
